To deepen civic and political participation from historically excluded communities, protect residents from displacement, institutionalize participatory governance and resident control of basic resources, and shift the narrative about Holyoke from one of deficit to one of resilience and power.

$225k over 3 years. To build leadership skills and empower young people to serve in a variety of civic roles in local government and the community. Support the Mayor’s Youth Council and an interagency Task Force on youth.
