MFF believes robust, multi-sector coalitions are essential to build and sustain the power necessary to achieve equitable and sustainable outcomes for people and the planet. This program will support coalitions that center environmental and climate justice and utilize a variety of advocacy and organizing strategies, as well as civic engagement to leverage policy and legislative change and the necessary resources to move towards a just and healthy, fossil free future.  

MFF is in the process of building out the strategy for this program and is currently supporting two coalitions in the state:  NY Renews and the Peak Coalition.  Over the next two years, MFF will be expanding our grantmaking in this area.  At this time, grants will be by invitation only.
